Now the discussion has started once again. In fact, on Friday, the ruling party TDP leader Komarddy Pattabhi Ram has made a big claim. He has said that adulterated ghee was supplied in Tirupati and the SIT headed by the CBI has also made it clear.
What did the TDP leader claim?
TDP leader Komamarddy Pattabhi Ram said- “The CBI-led SIT has made it clear that Bhole Baba Dairy, which was supplying ghee to TTD through HR Foods and Vaishnavi dairy during the Jagan Reddy government, was actually supplied adulterated ghee to adulterated ghee. Was prepared from it can be animal fat, as the lab report. ” Kommreddy Pattabhi further said- “We will have to wait for the final investigation report. But during the debate on the bail plea of the accused in the Supreme Court, the CBI-led SIT made it clear that it is adulterated ghee. Hearing this news is very unfortunate and sad.”
What is the whole matter of adulteration?
In fact, in September last year, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu accused his predecessor Jagan Reddy government of adulteration in the offerings of the Tirupati temple. Naidu had said that animal fat ghee was used to make Laddu Prasad of Tirupati temple. There was a lot of political uproar over this matter. After this, a SIT of nine members was formed by the state government to investigate the case. This case also went to the Supreme Court.
What was the Supreme Court directed?
A five -member SIT was formed by the Supreme Court to investigate the controversy over adulteration in Laddu Prasad of Tirupati temple. In this SIT, two officers of the central agency, two officers of Andhra Pradesh Police and one officers of the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) were placed.
