Share Market Opening 12 August, 2025: The Indian stock market once again opened in red mark with disadvantages. On Tuesday, the BSE Sensex opened at 80,508.51 points with a decline of 95.57 points (0.12%). Similarly, NSE’s Nifty 50 index also opened at 24,563.35 points with a loss of 21.70 points (0.09%). Let us tell you that after opening the red mark for 4 consecutive days last week, the market started business in the green mark on Monday this week. On Monday, the Sensex opened up to 79,885.36 points with a gain of 27.57 points to 24,371.50 points at 79,885.36 points.

ICICI Bank shares decline by 1 percent

On Tuesday, 18 out of 30 companies of Sensex opened in green mark with an increase in green mark and the remaining 12 companies opened with decline in red mark. On the other hand, today, 31 out of 50 company shares of Nifty 50 started trading in green mark and opened in red mark with the loss of the remaining 19 companies. Maruti Suzuki shares, one of the Sensex companies, opened with the highest 0.57 percent gain today and ICICI Bank shares opened with the highest 1.01 percent fall today.

Among other Sensex companies on Tuesday, Mahindra & Mahindra shares 0.57 percent, L&T 0.57 percent, Bajaj Finserv 0.45 percent, TCS 0.42 percent, Tata Steel 0.38 percent, Tech Mahindra 0.36 percent, Ulteratech Cement 0.32 percent, Ultratech Cement 0.32 percent, Titan 0.31 percent, BEL 0.31 percent, ITC 0.26 percent, ITC 0.26 percent, ITC 0.31 percent, ITC 0.31 percent, ITC 0.31 percent, Sunforma opened with 0.25 percent, HCL Tech 0.25 percent, Bajaj Finance 0.23 percent, Powergrid 0.21 percent, Asian Paints 0.11 percent, NTPC 0.10 percent and Adani ports shares opened with a gain of 0.07 percent.

On the other hand, today HDFC Bank shares have 0.68 percent, Kotak Mahindra Bank 0.68 percent, Trent 0.22 percent, Axis Bank 0.19 percent, Hindustan Unilever 0.17 percent, Artnal 0.11 percent, Tata Motors 0.11 percent, Infosys 0.10 percent, Bharti Airtel 0.09 percent, Bharati Airtel 0.09 percent and Religion Industries Shares started trading with a decline of 0.03 percent.
