Ancient Temple of Lord Parashurama: There are many ancient temples of Lord Parashurama in India, some of which are as follows:
• Parashuram Mahadev Temple, Rajasthan: The most famous temple of Parashurama is Parashuram Mahadev Temple. The temple is located in a cave in the Aravalli ranges on the border of Pali district of Rajasthan. It is also called the Amarnath Temple of Rajasthan. It is believed that Parashurama himself built this cave with his fur and worshiped Lord Shiva here.
In this regard, it is believed that Parashurama did penance here to please Lord Shiva. Somewhere it is also mentioned that the main cave temple is in Rajsamand district, while Kund Dham comes in Pali district. Parashuram Temple in South India Pajaka: In South India, a major temple is located in the holy place Pajaka near Udupi, dedicated to Parashurama ji.
• Parashuram Temple, Mokama (Bihar): Although there is very few temples of Lord Parashurama in India, but one of these temples is located in Mokama, Bihar.
• Parashuram Temple, Nirmand, Himachal Pradesh: This temple is an important temple dedicated to Lord Parashurama and is also considered historically important.
• Tangnath Dham, Jharkhand: There is an ancient Shiva temple here and it is believed that Lord Parashurama did penance to Lord Shiva here and buried his Fars in the ground.
• Parashuram Temple, Chiploon, Maharashtra: The temple is located near Chiploon in Ratnagiri district and is also considered quite ancient.
• Shri Parashuram Swamy Temple, Thiruvalalam, Kerala: This temple is considered a 2000 year old temple dedicated to Lord Parashurama.
• Pura Mahadev Temple Meerut: Near Meerut (Uttar Pradesh), Pura, a small village in Balauni town, has an ancient temple of Shiva, which is located around the Kajri forest area Meerut and Parashurama did Jalabhishek by setting up a Shivalinga at this place. That place is called ‘Pura Mahadev’. And it is also called other names as ‘Parashurameshwar’. Which is the center of reverence of Shiva devotees.

Where do Lord Parashurama live? Where does parshuram live: According to mythological beliefs, Lord Parashurama resides on the Mahendra mountain. There are different opinions about where this mountain is located, but is mainly considered in Odisha or Tamil Nadu. He is considered Chiranjeevi, that is, he is still alive and absorbed in penance.
According to some legends, he will become the tenth incarnation of Lord Vishnu at the end of Kali Yuga, and will teach them weapons. Therefore, Lord Parashurama does not have a certain physical abode, but Mahendra Parvat is considered to be his penance and residence.
