Toyota Fortuner Milder Mild Hybrid: Silent Driving, Dhansu Mileage, New Hybrid Avatar of Fortuner
Toyota has launched the mild hybrid version of the popular SUV Fortuner. The company has named it ‘Fortuner Neo Drive’. Its ex-showroom price has been kept at Rs 44.72 lakh. The version equipped with new technology has also been introduced in legender and GR-S4 at variants. Their prices are 50.09 lakhs and 51.94 lakh rupees.
Features and design
Talking about the design and features, the exterior and interior look of the Mild Hybrid Fortuner is kept the same, but it includes some special updates and extra features. First of all, this new version gives special badge of ‘Neo Drive’ which gives it a different identity from the rest of the models.

This model is also better in terms of safety and driving, as it includes important safety features such as 360 degree camera, hill assist feature, 7 airbags, isofix child seat mounts and traction control system. All these updates make Fortuner Neo Drive more secure, comfortable and easier in driving.

The Fortuner Mild Hybrid has a 48V mild hybrid system with a 2.8L diesel engine consisting of lithium-ion battery and belt-integrated starter generators. The interior uses dual tone leather upholstery that gives a premium and stylish touch to its cabin.
This setup generates 204bhp power and 500Nm torque. It also has an auto start-stop function, which helps in saving fuel. However, the company has not shared mileage figures at the moment. Edited by: Sudhir Sharma
