Who is Anshul Kamboj?
Anshul Kamboj hails from Karnal, Haryana, who was born on 6 December 2000 in Fazilpur village of Indri. His father Udham Singh is a farmer. Family members had dreamed of making Anshul a cricketer in childhood, which is why their training was started at the age of just 11 years. Anshul continued his cricket training along with school studies.
Like most cricketers, Anshul’s initial journey was very difficult. He had to walk about 8 kilometers first to reach the academy from his village in Karnal. He used to get up at 4 am to prepare for this. This routine continued like this till 2020. During this, Anshul got full support from family members.
There are great figures in first class cricket
After performing brilliantly at the Under-14, Under-16, Under-19 level, the 25-year-old bowler’s debut in first class cricket was made in February 2022. He has taken 79 wickets in 24 matches at an average of 22.88. In the last season of Ranji Trophy, the bowler took 34 wickets in 6 matches.
In 2024, he created a panic by taking 10 wickets in the match against Kerala. The bowler also played an important role in making Haryana champion in the Vijay Hazare Trophy in 2023-24.

Anshul’s IPL debut has been made. At the mega event, he got his first contract from Mumbai Indians in 2024. In the 18th season of IPL, Anshul was seen playing for Chennai Super Kings. He played 8 matches and took the same number of wickets.
