Manila: The tropical storm in the Philippines has caused severe havoc. The rains and floods with a severe storm have killed 25 people in the Philippines. A large number of people trapped in the villages affected by floods and landslides have been taken to safe bases. The weather conditions have worsened due to the tropical storm in its northern mountainous region.

Winds running at a speed of 165 km per hour

The storm ‘K-Me’ knocked on the fire town of Pangasinan province on Thursday night and during this period the winds moving at a speed of 165 km per hour started causing huge destruction. However, the storm, which is now moving towards the northeast, is gradually weakening and its speed has reduced by 100 km per hour on Friday morning.

Landslide and floods disturbed by life

The heavy rains and floods caused by the storm in the Philippines increased the landslide. This caused terrible damage. Disaster response officers have received reports of at least 25 deaths since last weekend, most of which have died due to sudden floods, trees, landslides and current. Eight others are missing. There is no notice of any casualty from ‘Co-Me’.

Government stopped school

The government has ordered the closure of school in Metropolitan Manila on the third day on Friday in view of the devastation caused by the storm and postponed classes in 35 provinces in the North Luzon region. Thousands of military personnel, police, fire guard, fire personnel and volunteers have been deployed to save people in villages affected by floods and landslides. (AP)
