Troubles for 22 thousand buyers of Noida Jaypee Infratech increased
Uttar Pradesh News Desk: The problems of 22 thousand buyers and about 10 thousand farmers of Jaypee Infratech have increased. Despite the proposal being passed by the Board, compensation has not been paid to the farmers before Diwali. This has hindered the completion of the project.
In the board meeting of Yamuna Authority, a proposal was sent for approval from the government, agreeing to bear the remaining Rs 360 crore for compensation distribution. The authority had claimed that the first installment of additional compensation would be given to the farmers by September, but the board meeting was delayed. The proposal is stuck at the government level. The authority is waiting for the approval from the government to release the installment.
CEO Dr. Arunveer Singh says that the first installment of compensation will be released to the farmers as soon as the approval is received from the government.
