Trump’s tariff of the stock market spoiled the mood! Sensex below 100 points, Nifty is also sluggish
Amidst US President Donald Trump’s tariff policy and global signals, the domestic stock market started trading in a red mark on Wednesday. The BSE Sensex was trading at 83602.91 level at 9.12 am at 83602.91. Similarly, the NSE Nifty was trading at the level of 25,499.75 with a decline of 22.75 points. Initial sessions of business emerged as HCL Technologies, ICICI Bank, Tata Steel, HDFC Life and L&T top loser stocks on Nifty as HUL, Asian Paints, Shriram Finance, Cipla, Maruti Suzuki Suzuki. The BSE Midcap index remained stable, while the smallcap index rose by 0.4 percent. Pharma, FMCG, consumer durables, media saw shopping in sectors, while selling in banks, IT, metal and realty was seen.
