Sidar Rapids (America): There was a stir in the US when a passenger tried to open an emergency door of the air flying aircraft and scrambled with a flight attendant. The incident occurred in flight number 3612 of Skywest airline, which was going to Detroit from Omaha city of Nebraska. This stirred other passengers. Later the emergency landing of the aircraft had to be made.

When did the incident happen?

It is being told that the incident took place at around 5:30 pm on Thursday, when the aircraft took off from Omaha. Shortly thereafter, a 23 -year -old passenger suddenly started behaving aggressively. The pilot, considering the situation as serious, immediately approached the Eastern Iowa Airport Tower of Sidar Rapids and sought permission for emergency landing. Pilot’s conversation with Air Traffic Control (ATC) told, “That passenger is currently fighting a flight attendant and trying to open an emergency door.” The aircraft was safely launched at Sidar Rapids Airport with pilot’s vigilance and quick decision.

Police arrested passenger

The local police arrested the said passenger as soon as the aircraft landed. The accused has been identified as a 23 -year -old youth resident of Omaha. Police officers are investigating the case and the process of possible federal allegations against the accused has also started. Skywest Airline issued an official statement saying, “We appreciate the readiness of our crew that kept the situation under control and ensured the safety of the passengers.

The aircraft was later safely dispatched for Detroit. ” This incident has once again raised concerns about the security of air travel in the US.
