The US capital Washington DC, which is also considered to be the safest place in the world, is coming out from there. Two employees of the Israeli Embassy have been shot dead here on Wednesday evening. The incident took place near the Jewish Museum. Homeland Security Secretary Christie Nom has confirmed the incident. The Jewish Museum is located a few steps away from the FBI Field office at Washington DC.

Israeli embassy made a statement

Tal Naim, a spokesman of the Israeli Embassy in the US, said, “Two employees of the Israeli embassy were shot closely while attending an event at the Capital Jew Museum located in Washington DC this evening. We are confident of law officials that they will catch the shooter and protect the Israeli representatives and Juda communities in the US.”

FBI chief Kash Patel also spoke

The US investigative agency FBI chief Kash Patel has also issued a statement on the entire incident. He said- “I and my team have been informed about the firing near the Washington Field Office. We are working to get more information. Please pray for the victims and their families. We will keep updating people about this.”

What did Israel say?

Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon has termed the entire incident as a disgusting act of anti -Jewish terrorism. He said in a post- “We are confident that the US officials will take strict action against those responsible for this criminal act. Israel will continue to work strongly for the safety of its citizens and representatives worldwide.”
