What did Tharoor say?

Udit Raj’s reaction came after the statement made by Tharoor on Sunday, in which he said that the Pahalgam terror attack on 22 April was possibly due to intelligence failure. Tharoor compared it to an attack by terrorist organization Hamas (October 7, 2023), which shocked Israel, a famous country for strong intelligence information.

26 died in terrorist attack

The victims were shot near Basaron Meadow, a popular tourist destination in the region. The attack is one of the most deadly attacks in the area since the 2019 Pulwama attack, resulting in the 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel.
