UIDAI preparations, now those who make fake Aadhaar are not good, will know in a pinch
Aadhar card
UIDAI has made great preparations to stop the fraud and fake UID number associated with the Aadhaar card. The Central Unique Identification Authority is going to use advanced tools such as artificial intelligence and machine learning to prevent forgery. Preparations are being done for this, so that brakes can be applied on fake Aadhaar card. Aadhaar is an important document, which is used in taking mobile connections for banking etc.
Fake Aadhaar card will have a break
According to the ET report, UIDAI’s CEO Bhuvanesh Kumar said recently that after the release of the Aadhaar card, new AI based tools will be used to change the date of birth and biometrics repeatedly. Many users get their Aadhaar card updated repeatedly from date of birth to biometrics. UIDAI will use these technology in the official database for its verification to identify the Aadhaar card with wrong and mixed biometrics.
Apart from this, UIDAI has prepared to make the Aadhaar application completely online so that the scope to change the documents can be reduced. Apart from this, other steps will also be taken to stop the Aadhaar card forgery. UIDAI CEO explained with an example that if you want to play in the cricket team, then you want to reduce your age by two years. At the same time, if you want a job, then you want to increase the date of birth in the Aadhaar card. There are many such frauds. People update their date of birth by using many birth certificates. It needs to be stopped.
What is UIDAI preparation?
- Biometrics will be matched with original database to prevent repeated date of birth changing. AI and machine learning tools will be used for this.
- Now the online application form for the new Aadhaar card will now be filled. Documents will also be verified digitally for this.
- AI tools will be used to check fingerprints, which will work to check the age of the user.
- Biometrics such as fingerprints and face limits will be updated. It will be allowed to update it only for senior citizens. The common user will be prevented from updating it repeatedly.
Non-Indian users can be applied only when they have been living here for 180 days or more days. UIDAI said that 1,456 such application has been rejected in the last 6 months. Many of these users are not residents of India but they have applied for Aadhaar card inside the Indian category. Explain that UIDAI has also canceled more than 1.17 crore Aadhaar cards. These are cards of those who had died, but their families did not apply to cancel the Aadhaar card.
