Emergency landing of a fighter jet has been made at Thiruvananthapuram Airport in Kerala. This fighter jet belongs to the UK Navy. Emergency landing has been allowed at the airport due to low fuel of UK Navy fighter jet at Thiruvananthapuram.
Landing could not be done due to bad weather
The UK Navy ship is present at 100 nautical mile distance from Thiruvananthapuram. On Saturday, F35 fighter jet took off training. Landing in the ship could not succeed due to bad weather. The fuel fell short due to several attempts.
Emergency landing at Thiruvananthapuram Airport at 9 pm
After this, the fighter flight was allowed to land at Thiruvananthapuram Airport at around 9 pm on Saturday night with the permission of authority. Then the fighter Jet of the UK Navy made a successful landing and breathed a sigh of relief.
Right now fighter jet kept in domestic airport hanger
Official sources said that only after all the legal investigation, the fighter aircraft will be given clearance to fly again by allowing refueling. Currently, the fighter jet is kept in the flight Henger of Domestic Airport.
India and UK Navy’s exercise
The British and Indian Navy in North Arabian C took place on 9 and 10 June. The F35 fighter jet of the UK Navy also participated in this exercise.
