Russia in aggressive posture, warns of nuclear attack

Ukraine raised President Vladimir Putin’s concerns by firing long-range missiles (ATACMS) received from the US for use in attacks against Russia. Putin has reiterated his resolve to protect the country’s sovereignty by warning against the immediate use of nuclear weapons. Ukraine has admitted that it would have been difficult to teach Russia such a lesson if the United States had not provided it with strategic support. Ukrainian President Zelensky told Fox News that if America now decides to reduce military aid, Ukraine will lose this fight. Ukraine’s domestic military equipment production capacity is insufficient to counter the threat.

After Biden, Britain and France also say yes to Ukraine

United States President Joe Biden on November 17 gave his approval to Ukraine to attack Russian territory with ATACMS missiles in the war. After Biden’s decision, Britain and France have also given permission for conditional use of Storm Shadow and SCALP missiles against Russia. These can only be used against targets in the Kursk area.

Pentagon refuses to comment

According to Tass, Pentagon deputy press secretary Sabrina Singh avoided commenting on Ukraine’s attack on Russia’s Bryansk region with ATACMS missiles at the daily briefing. Sabrina also declined a request to comment on US permission to use ATACMS missiles.

Russia’s Defense Ministry said- five missiles destroyed, one damaged

Overnight at 03:25 a.m. Moscow time, Ukrainian armed forces attacked a facility in the Bryansk region with six ATACMS ballistic missiles, Russia’s Defense Ministry said in a statement Tuesday, according to The Moscow Times. Five of them were shot down by Russia’s Pantsir and S-400 missile defense systems and one was damaged. The missiles crashed into a military facility complex in the Bryansk region. This caused a fire but the flames were immediately extinguished. There was no casualty or damage. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov warned that this attack by Ukraine is now forcing Russia’s nuclear doctrine to think about nuclear attack.

Phones will not ring between Russia and America since February 12, 2022

This war has increased the tension between America and Russia. According to Tass, President Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov said that the US-Soviet hotline, created for Soviet and American leaders in the wake of the 1962 Cuban missile crisis, is not being used at this time. Nor is this channel active. We now have a special protected communication channel for both Presidents. It also has the option of video conference. Peskov said there have been no contacts through this new channel recently. US embassy closed in Kyiv

After Ukraine’s latest attack against Russia, America has ordered the closure of its embassy in Kiev. Also, embassy officials have been advised to take shelter in safe places. America fears that their Kiev embassy may be attacked by air. The US State Department issued a statement giving this information. This step of America has come at a time when tension between Russia and Ukraine has reached its peak. The situation has become so tense that panic has spread in three European countries, Norway, Sweden and Finland. The governments of the three countries have advised their citizens to stock up on all the essential items and have asked their soldiers to be ready for war. Sweden has even instructed people to buy and keep iodine tablets to protect against radiation in the event of a nuclear war.
