Dehradun: Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) is inviting applications for Group ‘C’ Constable District Police (Male) and Constable PAC/IRB (Male) posts. The registration window has been opened from today to fill a total of 2,000 posts. Interested candidates can apply for these posts by visiting the official website of the Commission, sssc.uk.gov.in. The last date to apply is November 29, 2024.
Written examination will be held in June
This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 2,000 vacancies including 1600 vacancies of Group ‘C’ Constable District Police (Male) and 400 vacancies of Constable PAC/IRB (Male). The written examination for this recruitment will be tentatively held on 15 June 2025.
what will be the salary
Candidates selected on these posts of Uttarakhand Police will get salary as per pay scale 21700-69100 (Level-3).
Eligibility Criteria
To apply, candidates must have passed Intermediate examination or its equivalent qualification recognized by Uttarakhand School Education Council, Ramnagar, Nainital. Apart from this, in case of direct recruitment, preference will be given to the candidate who has served for minimum two years in the Territorial Army, or has obtained “B” certificate from the National Cadet Corps.

Candidates between 18 years to 22 years of age can apply for these posts. At the same time, SC, ST and OBC category candidates of Uttarakhand will get maximum age relaxation of five years.
selection process
The selection process for these posts will be in two phases. In the first phase there will be qualifying physical standard test. After this, physical efficiency test will be taken for the candidates who pass the physical standard test. In the second phase, there will be a written competitive test for the candidates who pass the physical efficiency test.
