UPPSC PCS Exam Date 2024: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the revised schedule of PCS preliminary exam. On Friday (November 15), the next day after the announcement of conducting the PCS (Pre) exam on a single day, UPPSC announced a new date for this exam. The Commission will now hold it in two sessions on December 22, 2024. Earlier, the PCS Pre exam was scheduled to be held on December 7 and 8. Giving information, Commission Secretary Ashok Kumar said that now this examination will be conducted on December 22 in two sessions (from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and in the second session from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm). Will go.

Since November 11, a large number of students were agitating to conduct the PCS Pre and RO-ARO exams on one day. On Thursday (November 14), the Commission accepted the demand of the students to conduct the PCS Pre examination on a single day. Whereas a committee has been formed for the examination of RO-ARO.

UP Public Service Commission Secretary Ashok Kumar told PTI, “Considering the number of candidates in the RO-ARO exam, we have constituted a committee which will submit its report as soon as possible and a decision will be taken accordingly.”

He said, “These students have been told that the exams have been postponed. The students should have this much patience. After listening to them, the government accepted their demands and formed a committee. They should be patient till the report of the committee comes. It is a big thing that even after preparations, we are not conducting the RO-ARO exams.”

Demonstration continues even today

Till 2 pm on Friday afternoon, only 20-25 students were seen sitting and protesting at the gate of the Commission. According to PTI, a similar crowd of students is present outside the commission. Most of the students say that they will continue the agitation until the decision on RO-ARO examination is taken. Student Shiv Kumar Maurya said that only 50-100 students gathered in front of the commission on Friday morning. Whereas till yesterday this number was more than 10 thousand. Due to reduced numbers, a road in front of the Commission has been opened for the movement of two-wheelers. At the same time, the number of policemen deployed around the Commission has also reduced significantly.

Ganesh Dwivedi, a student preparing for PCS, said that the government has taken a very good decision to conduct the PCS examination in one day, due to which the students preparing for PCS examination are very happy. At the same time, Mayank Jain said that he hopes that the government will also take a decision on RO-ARO examination soon. In this hope the students are sitting on strike. If a decision is not taken on this during the movement, it will be shelved.
