What did Musk write?
Musk had earlier removed a post, in which he claimed without proof that the government was hiding information about the President’s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein (accused of sexual harassment of minor children). Meanwhile, in another post harassing Trump, Musk claimed to take credit for Trump’s election victory, calling the bill a ‘disgusting’. Trump on Sunday told NBC’s Christon Velker that he had no desire to improve his relationship and warned that if Musk tries to help the Democrats in the upcoming elections, he may have to suffer ‘serious consequences’.
Republican MPs reconciled
Republican MPs and high-level colleagues of Trump, silently contacted Musk and urged him not only to reconcile with the President, but also to support his domestic policy bill. During Musk’s tenure as Trump’s “first friend”, many close advisors of the President formed their relationship with the tech billionaire, whose support he took to bring the Musk back to his side after a public dispute between the two persons. Through text messages and phone calls with Musk, Trump’s colleagues have tried to reduce the quarrel and convince the need for the “Big Beautiful Bill” said by Trump, which is facing obstacles in the Senate. Sources familiar with these conversations said that Musk agreed to outreach, but still retreated when the law did not have enough spending. (Input-ANI)
