Bus victim of accident
In the Pipalkoti Tangani area of Chamoli in Uttarakhand, the rainy drain was in spate due to torrential rains. The general public life has been affected by this. Four vehicles got trapped in the rubble due to the strike in Peepalkoti. These trains have been expelled from the rubble. The Tangdi Crazy Nala has also come in spate, which has shut down Badrinath High. The work of opening the highway continues.
Bus overturned of pilgrims
Tehri-Gadolia-Srinagar road NH-707 near Pokhal, a passenger bus, fell victim to the accident. The bus was going to Badrinath Dham and was standing on the roadside in crocodiles. All the passengers were having dinner in a nearby hotel. After eating food, only three passengers boarded the bus, when the bus went uncontrolled and fell into the roof of a house 10 meters below. Three passengers were injured in this accident. The three passengers were taken to the base hospital Srinagar by 108 ambulances. All the passengers on the bus are residents of Odisha and all are safe.
Heavy rain in Himachal
The water level of Pandoh dam is increasing due to the melting of glaciers and rains in the surrounding areas. Officials have warned the general public and tourists not to go to the banks of the Vyas river on Monday as the gates of the dam can be opened at any time due to the rise in the water level. Different weather related incidents came to light at various places on Monday in Himachal Pradesh. Due to the storm in the morning, trees fell up in Sundernagar area of the district, causing problems for school children and office people. Mandi and Shimla remained cloudy in the sky. The local meteorological office said that Kangra, Palampur, Jot, Bhuntar, Kalpa, Mandi and Sundernagar also received thunderstorms. The Sansari-Tandi-Tandi-Thirot route has been blocked due to sudden floods in Udaipur sub-division of Lahaul and Spiti districts. The police have urged people to avoid traveling on this road. Light rains have been going on in many areas of Himachal Pradesh since Sunday evening.
