Dharali village of Uttarakhand has been completely cut off from the country. Due to flooding in Dharali village, debris has accumulated from 30 to 50 feet. Meanwhile, despite bad weather, there is a large -scale rescue operation. So far 400 people have been rescued. Along with this, 11 army soldiers have also been rescued. Rescue teams have been transported to Dharli with the help of helicopter. At the same time, bad weather is repeatedly hindering the rescue. The glaciers are repeatedly bursting and debris is also coming down. Please tell that Dharali Gangotri falls about 20 kilometers before Dham and is a major stop of the journey.

The sky flood in Dharali has changed the appearance of the entire village. The entire village has become a pile of debris. Some houses are only visible roofs. There is a pile of big stones in Dharli. Big boulders are seen in the entire area. Those who have a big challenge to remove.

Dual challenge in front of rescue team

The rescue team has a dual challenge in front of the rescue team. On one side, Kheer flowing at a high speed is the water of the Ganges river and on the other side the swamp made of debris. The SDRF team has reached here by walking several kilometers and reached here through the mountains. It is very difficult to walk in wet soil, so the way is being made by laying tin sheets.

A team of 28 members of Kerala missing

A 28 -member team of tourists from Kerala is also said to be missing in the disaster. A relative of a missing person said, “He had told that he is leaving for Gangotri from Uttarkashi at eight thirty in the same day. Since he went, we are not able to contact them.” On the other hand, a team of 16 people from Jalgaon in Maharashtra also went to Uttarkashi, whose disappearance is being reported.

Landslides closed the roads

Constant rains and landslides in Uttarkashi and its surrounding areas have broken roads and the roads are closed. There is a way to Bhatwadi, Lrigigad and Gangrani to reach Dharali. The reason for landslide is closed. The path from Bhatwadi to Harshil is completely broken. The team of NDRF and SDRF has stopped on this path. There is also a queue of ambulance going to help the injured.

An official of the District Emergency Operations Center in Uttarkashi said that Gangotri National Highway is blocked at various places and a joint team of more than 200 rescue personnel is waiting for the route to open in Bhatwadi. He said that a bridge over the Gangotri National Highway was swept away in the flood on the Limcha Barsati drain beyond the Ganganani, due to which a team of rescue personnel being caught is stuck on the way.

Badrinath highway closed due to rock breaking

On the other hand, the Badrinath highway has been closed due to the breaking of the rock in Jogheemath in Joshimath. Thankfully, when the rock broke and fell on the highway, no vehicle was passing from there, otherwise there could have been a big loss. Debris removal work has been started. The administration says that the highway will be opened soon.
