Vande Bharat: Good news for travelers, 3 new Vande India train will run from August 10
Indian Railways is going to run three new trains across the country, carrying forward the expansion of Vande Bharat Express train. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off three Vande Bharat trains during his Karnataka tour on this Sunday (August 10). These new Vande Bharat trains will run between Bengaluru-Belgawi, Ajni-Pune of Nagpur and Amritsar-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra. This information has been given by Union Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and New and Renewable Energy Minister Pralhad Joshi.
These Vande Bharat train should be taken note
According to the news, Bengaluru-Belgawi Vande Bharat train has been approved. The train will leave Belgavi at 5:20 am and reach Bangalore at 1:50 pm. Similarly, the return journey from Bangalore will start at 2:20 pm and reach Belgavi at 10:40 pm. This will improve contact between Bengaluru, Tumkuru, Davangere, Haweeri, Hubli, Dharwad and Belagavi. Due to the running of these trains, a large number of passengers will have a lot of convenience.
The Vande Bharat train, which is going to start the country’s high speed and the network of modern trains, will not only give the experience of fast and comfortable travel to the passengers, but will also strengthen the connectivity between different states.
A total of 144 Vande Bharat Express trains are running in the country
Indian Railways has started Vande Bharat Express trains to provide better travel experience to passengers. These semi-high-speed trains built at Chennai-based Integral Coach Factory (ICF) are equipped with modern coaches, advance safety features and passenger facilities. At present, a total of 144 Vande Bharat Express trains are running on different routes of the country. Of these, 22 Vande Bharat trains are running at various stations in Maharashtra and 8 Vande Bharat trains are running at various stations in Madhya Pradesh.
Number of travelers in Vande India
According to the report, the total number of passengers in Vande Bharat Express trains in FY 2024-25 is 102.01 percent. However, in the current financial year ie FY 2026, the number of passengers in these new era trains is 105.03 percent (till June 2025).
