Vande Bharat News: Vande Bharat Express will be able to book 15 minutes before the journey!
If you want to travel from Vande Bharat Express and have not been able to take tickets till the last time. Now you can book tickets just 15 minutes before the opening (departure) of the Vande Bharat Express train. According to the news of Ahmedabad Mirror, this service may soon start for Western Railway Passengers. Currently, Southern Railway has started such service from July 17 as a pilot project. In this, this ‘tax booking’ facility has been provided for eight Vande Bharat trains.
Booking from middle stations also
According to the news, now Pencines can book online tickets on the basis of vacant seats from the middle stations in these trains, even then till 15 minutes before departing from that station of the train. Currently, this service has been started in trains like Mangaluru Central -Tiruvananthapuram Central Vande Bharat Express and its return service. According to the earlier arrangement, as soon as the train left from its source station, the facility of ticket booking from further stations was stopped. But now this new system will provide more convenience to passengers.
Booking will be done on seat availability
According to senior officials of Western Railway, if it is successful in Southern Railway and gets good feedback from passengers, it will be implemented in the entire Western Railway including Ahmedabad. According to the news of Ahmedabad Mirror, a senior official of the Central Railway says that this facility has been implemented on the eight Vande Bharat trains running under our division and it depends on the availability of the seat. Passengers can also book these tickets online.
Railway officials say that this step will benefit passengers of Tier-2 cities and small towns. This provides more convenience to those traveling at the last minute and reduced the number of vacant seats in premium trains.
