Varanasi Electricity connections of 70 defaulters disconnected
Revenue collection campaign was conducted under the leadership of Sub Divisional Officer SB Prasad in villages Sarkhelpur and Loniapur under Uttar Pradesh News Desk Electricity Center Patti. The campaign was carried out by a joint team of all the staff of Patti Tehsil, Patti Rural Udaiyadih.
The team of JE Shailendra Kumar Yadav and Jairaj Rajput disconnected the connections of 34 defaulters in Sarkhelpur. Revenue of about Rs 70 thousand was collected. Vigilance team was also present along with the electrical team. Also, connections of 36 defaulters were disconnected in Loniapur. Revenue of Rs 50 thousand was collected. In the vigilance team, the team including in-charge inspector Ram Ashish, vigilance JE Manoj Kumar Patel, sub-inspector Dhurandhar along with Ram Abhilakh Maurya, Govind Pal, Rajkishore Yadav were present.
Demand to install ABC from electricity department
Villagers resident of Dandupur in Raniganj have given an application to the Raniganj SDO demanding the installation of Aerial Bunch Conductor (ABC) wrapped in a cable-like cover in place of loose electrical wires. Villagers say that open electrical wires collide with each other and produce sparks. Due to this, incidents of crop fire are happening every year. In which the crops prepared by the farmers through months of hard work are turning to ashes in a moment. Those who submitted applications included Kamlesh, Ravindra, Ramnath, Shobhanath, Rajesh Dubey etc.
Case against four in assault case
Balraj Tripathi, resident of Jamlamau village of the police station area, lodged a complaint with the police. On November 3, Teerthraj of the family started plowing the disputed land with a tractor. Teenager bitten by poisonous animal
Ram Das, 14 year old son of Suresh Kumar, resident of Purva village of Khalasi in Kotwali area, was strolling outside the house. Then he was bitten by some poisonous animal. As his condition worsened, his family admitted him to CHC.
