Varun Dhawan used to work in nightclub, father David Dhawan had refused to launch his son

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan is celebrating his birthday on 24 April. Varun Dhawan is the son of veteran film director David Dhawan. Even after being from the film background, Varun’s father David Dhawan refused to launch him under his home production. He wanted his son to search for work himself.

Varun Dhawan loved wrestling as a child and wanted to become a wrestler. However, due to being related to the film background, he went ahead and caught the path of art. Before acting, Varun Dhawan worked as an assistant director in Karan Johar’s film ‘My Name Is Khan’ in 2010.
