PM Modi appealed to all parties

Delhi: After the NDA Parliamentary Party meeting on Tuesday, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed to all MPs including the opposition to support CP Radhakrishnan in the Vice Presidential elections. Rijiju said that Prime Minister Modi introduced CP Radhakrishnan to the leaders of the House in the meeting. “NDA candidate CP Radhakrishnan was introduced in the meeting for the Vice Presidential election. NDA MPs, House leaders warmly welcomed CP Radhakrishnan ji, congratulated him and thanked the Prime Minister. Prime Minister Modi introduced him in the NDA meeting.

PM Modi said in today’s parliamentary party meeting that talks are being held with all parties so that the Vice President is selected with consensus. Let us know that the BJP has chosen Radhakrishnan as the candidate for this post with the mutual consent of all the parties involved in the NDA.

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav gave NDA Governor of Maharashtra, C.P. On being declared a candidate for Radhakrishnan as Vice Presidential candidate, he said, “People of our India alliance have also decided something together, you will get information very soon.”

NCP leader Praful Patel said, “CP Radhakrishnan is a very good person, he is also the Governor of Maharashtra. He has a long public life, he has been a member of Lok Sabha twice. He is a good person and especially in a big country like India, Tamil Nadu is getting representation today, which should be welcomed …”

At the same time, SP MP Awadhesh Prasad said on the meeting of opposition parties at the residence of Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge regarding the Vice Presidential candidate of the opposition, “We are with the decision that India alliance will take.”
