Vicky Kaushal’s father wanted to commit suicide
During the conversation on Aman Aujla’s podcast, Sham Kaushal said that when he received the news of cancer, he came to his mind to jump from the third floor of the hospital. He recalled one of his surgery in 2003, after which he came to know that he had cancer. He told that the people present in the hospital room looked very worried and the doctor told him that he would not be able to escape. Talking about his cancer journey, Vicky Kaushal’s father said, ‘He gave me this news in the evening and at night, I got a strange idea of jumping from the third floor of the hospital, where my room was. I did not take this decision due to weakness, but thought when I had to die, then why not now? But due to the pain after surgery, I was not able to move. ‘ He further revealed that he used to pray to God in his hospital room to go from there.
Life changed after cancer
He further said, ‘After the conversation, I recovered from fear of death. The next morning, I woke up with a new hope that just some surgery will be done and I will be fine. After this incident, my attitude towards life changed. This strengthened my will. Many tests and surgery were performed for the next one year. I remained strong. Luckily, cancer did not spread in my body. I had prayed for 10 years from God to live, but today it has been 22 years. That era changed my life. I met many good people. I got a good job. My children are doing well. I moved forward in life.
Both sons of Sham Kaushal are also making a splash in Bollywood
Before receiving a big break as an action director in 1990, Sham worked as a stuntman for many years. He has been working in this industry for more than four decades and has been known for his contribution to Bollywood and Hollywood films. His first film as action director was ‘Indrajalam’ (1990), which was a Malayalam film. In Bollywood, Sham has worked as an action director in films like ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ (2012), ‘Bhag Milkha Bhaag’ (2013), ‘PK’, ‘Padmavat’ (2018), ‘Sanju’ (2018), ‘Sanju’ (2018), ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ (2017) and ‘Simba’ (2018). He also worked on great films like the Academy Award winning film ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ (2008). Both his sons, Vicky Kaushal and Sunny Kaushal are working as an actor in Bollywood. The elder daughter -in -law of Sham Kaushal’s elder daughter -in -law is Katrina Kaif, who is the wife of Vicky Kaushal.
