Tribal students made records
Over 25,000 tribal students in Alluri Sitaram Raju district took part in a huge yoga session in Visakhapatnam on Friday and set a new world record. The official announcement of this record may be on Saturday. Some students who took part in this session had taken rigorous training for three to four months, but some more students had only a few weeks for preparation. Prior to the session, students were given yoga mats and barcodes were issued, scanning and attending attendance. The participants started the session with ‘Omkram’ under the guidance of senior yoga instructor Pathanjali Srinivas Rao and completed 108 Surya Namaskar in 108 minutes.

The student said-I was nervous
Venkatesh, a ninth grade student of Araku, said that he was nervous before the program. He said, “I was surprised to see such a huge crowd. But when I saw all my classmates there, enthusiasm took place instead of nervousness. We are very happy to be a part of such a big event.”
Minister Nara Lokesh said this thing
After the Yoga Yoga session in the syllabus, IT Minister Nara Lokesh appreciated the discipline and dedication of the students. He announced that yoga classes would be made a regular part of the syllabus. He said that from June 21, it will be practiced once a week in all government schools. Lokesh said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a special attachment to Visakhapatnam, he said that Prime Minister Modi will visit the city for the second time in a year. Lokesh confirmed that the students had really set a world record with their participation, and official recognition would be announced during the grand International Yoga Day celebrations on the beach road on Saturday.
