VIDEO: Ashwin turned red with anger after seeing comedy in fielding, gave 3 runs instead of 1 run

In the 11th match of Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) 2025, Dindigul Dragons easily defeated Seicham Madurai Panthers by 9 wickets but in this match the fielding of dragons was quite poor, due to which captain Ashwin was also seen to bear. In this match played at SCF Cricket Ground in Salem on Saturday, 14 June, Ashwin’s team looted not one or two but three overthrow runs, which made Ashwin look very angry.

In the final over of the match, Gurjapneet Singh and S Rajalingam were at the crease. The right -handed player hit the ball towards the extra cover, where Ravichandran Ashwin was posted. Ashwin fielded the ball clearly and threw the bowler’s end, but the bowler failed to catch the throw. After this, the batsmen also fled for the second run.

Then, another fielder also threw the wrong throw which wicketkeeper Baba Indrajit failed to catch and the opposition team got another extra run. When the opposition team got three runs on the ball on which there should not have been a single run, Ashwin’s face turned red with anger but he kept himself calm and did not say anything.
