VIDEO: England fans enjoyed Shubman Gill, after the runout
In the fifth and last Test against England, Shubman Gill was seen in a good rhythm but he was runout due to misunderstanding with Sai Sudarshan. Gill lost his wicket in the process of stealing runs off Gas Atkinson. After Gill’s runout, English fans also enjoyed Gill a lot.
The incident took place in the 28th over of the Indian innings when Gas Atkinson bowled the off stump. Gill was batting confidently, he tapped the ball from the backfoot towards the off side and he ran to take a run as soon as he played. However, his partner Sai Sudarshan immediately refused to take the run and stayed at his crease. Gill stuck in confusion turned back to the crease back, but Atkinson reached the ball before him and ran to his left, raising the ball quickly and gave India a big blow by hitting a direct hit at the striker and a direct hit.
After being dismissed, when Gill was returning disappointed, the domestic audience present at the Oval in a mischievous manner granted him collectively calling him “bye-bye”. The video of this incident is becoming quite viral on social media, which you can see below.
