Sahibganj: Several coaches of stones -laden goods train derailed in a railway yard on Thursday in Sahibganj district of Jharkhand. The accident took place in Barharwa railway yard of Eastern Railway. It is a matter of relief that there is no news of anyone being injured or casualties in this incident. After the accident, it was told by the railway that the accident took place inside the yard, where some stones -laden coaches slipped uncontrollably and collided with the other steep goods train. The collision was so strong that many coaches climbed on each other and derailed.

Many coaches damaged in accident

According to eyewitnesses, the goods train was standing with stones, when some of its coaches suddenly started rolling forward. At uncontrolled speed, these compartments hit the second goods train, which damaged many coaches. The railway is expected to suffer heavy economic losses due to this accident.
