VIDEO: For the first time on divorce with Dhanashree, Chahal silently silenced, ‘I thought of suicide in mind’
Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal has finally broken his silence after a divorce with his wife Dhanashree Verma. Chahal told that the time for him was no less than a bad dream. Along with this, he also informed that he faced mental health problems after facing allegations of fraud amid rumors of divorce from Dhanashree Verma.
The couple married in 2020, but they divorced in March earlier this year. In the third year, their marriage started getting rid of, but the couple decided to keep it in between. However, during the divorce proceedings, Chahal was hurt by personally due to being called ‘cheating’. Now he spoke openly about this in a podcast.
Speaking to Raj Shamani on his YouTube channel, Chahal said, “I think people accused me of being deceived when I got divorced. I have never cheated in my life. I am not that kind of person. You are not more loyal to me. I always think heartily for my close people. I do not always ask for me. I do not always give me something. Are.”
Chahal also told that during the divorce, his mental health had such a bad effect that many times the ideas of suicide used to come in his mind and he used to cry for hours in his room. Speaking further, he said, “I used to get the ideas of suicide, I was tired of my life, I used to cry for 2 hours. I used to sleep only for 2 hours. He walked for 40-45 days. I wanted to break from cricket. I was so busy in cricket that I was not able to focus. I used to sleep for 2 hours. I used to share suicide with my friend. I was afraid.”
