Gavaskar has warned the sports websites and individual accounts spreading fake news that their statements should not be used and used for TRP. The former Indian captain urged cricket lovers to check and confirm some facts before believing in them, especially the information given by individual accounts and some sports websites must be verified.
Gavaskar said in a video posted on his official Instagram account, “In the last few months, it has come to my notice that many sports websites and personal accounts are giving such comments and quotes about me, which I have never given.
