West Indies all-rounder Kieron Pollard may have retired from the IPL, but in the rest of the world’s T20 leagues, they are causing havoc and telling how much power left in them. Mumbai Indians batting coach shocked everyone once again in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2025.

In the match played on 1 September (Monday), Pollard scored a 65 -run innings in just 29 balls in which he also hit 8 skyscraper sixes and the funny thing was that 7 of his 8 sixes came on the last 9 balls. During this, he sent four consecutive balls of Afghanistan’s young spinner Waqar Salamkhil to stands directly to the stands.

Initially, Pollard’s batting looked a bit slow. By the 15th over, he was able to score only 12 runs off 12 balls. But after this he changed the gear. In order to speed up the innings of Trinbago Knight Riders, he hit three sixes off four balls in Naveen Bidyidi’s over and changed the entire atmosphere of the match.

Finally, Pollard was dismissed for 65 off 29 balls. The specialty of his innings was that he hit 53 runs off the last 17 balls, including 8 sixes. Even at the age of 38, this stormy style of Pollard proves that his bat still has the same old power. In CPL 2025, he has appeared in a great form so far. He has scored 223 runs in six innings. During this period, his average is 74.33 and the strike rate is around 183. The biggest record is that so far, Pollard 20 sixes have been hit in the tournament, which is the highest from any batsman.
