Marsh looked ready for a big innings but Trent Bolt ended his innings and pushed Lucknow to the backfoot. Chasing the target of 216 runs, the Lucknow team collapsed for 161 runs. Aidan Markram scored 9 runs for Lucknow while Nicholas Puran (27 runs), Rishabh Pant (4 runs), Mitchell Marsh (34 runs), and Ayush Badoni (35 runs) also returned to the pavilion early. Trent Bolt of Mumbai took 3 wickets while bowling brilliantly, while Jasprit Bumrah took 4 wickets and took Lucknow.
