Playing for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2025, 14 -year -old Vaibhav Suryavanshi caught everyone’s attention with his performance. Even Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not miss him from praising him and now PM Modi also met Vaibhav Suryavanshi at Patna Airport. During this time, Suryavanshi’s parents were also present.

Suryavanshi, who returned to his hometown after failing to qualify for Royals’ playoffs, was given a grand welcome and now he also met with PM Modi, whose many pictures are going viral on social media. Prime Minister Modi also later shared pictures of this meeting on social media.

While sharing the pictures of this meeting, PM Modi wrote in the caption, “Youth cricket sensation at Patna Airport met Vaibhav Suryavanshi and his family. His cricket skills are being praised all over the country. My best wishes for his future efforts.”

Let me tell you that Vaibhav was just 13 years old when Rajasthan Royals bought him for Rs 1.1 crore during the mega auction held in Jeddah last year. He made his IPL debut against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on 19 April, in which he also hit a six off Shardul Thakur’s first ball. After that moment, Vaibhav did not look back and continued to move forward. In seven matches, he scored 252 runs at an average of 36 and a great strike rate of 206.55 and shared a strong opening partnership with Yashasvi Jaiswal.

However, in the match against Gujarat Titans (GT) in Jaipur on April 28, the left-handed batsman played a great game and became the youngest player to score a half-century in T20 cricket and also made a record of scoring the fastest century by an Indian in IPL history, he achieved this feat in just 35 balls. Royals won by eight wickets thanks to his banging innings.

Suryavanshi concluded his campaign in the IPL on 20 May at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi with an innings of 57 off 33 balls against MS Dhoni -led Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Now he would like to continue his performance next year.
