In fact, 11 people died in a stampede near Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. In this, Bhoumik, who lives in Hassan district of Karnataka, was also killed. After the accident, Bhowmik was cremated in Kampagode village of Belur taluka in Hassan district. However, after the death of the young son, Bhowmik’s father is unable to recover from the shock. A video of this has also surfaced, in which his father is seen crying by clinging to Bhowmik’s grave. The people around there separated Bhowmik’s father from the tomb.
Action taken against many officials
After this incident, several officers including the Police Commissioner were removed. The Karnataka High Court has also taken a tough stand on this incident. Taking self -cognizance, the High Court has fixed June 10 for the hearing. At the same time, some people have also demanded a case against the CEO of Karnataka Cricket Association and M Chinnaswamy Stadium. In this case, a Bangalore court has sent three people of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and three people of event management company DNA Entertainment to 14 days judicial custody.
