Flood and rain havoc in the market.
Amidst flood-rains, pictures of huge devastation are coming out from Himachal Pradesh where there is news of cloudburst in Dharampur, Longani in Mandi. It is being told that there are flood -like conditions due to cloudburst in the Karsog Valley, in which 7 to 8 houses have been washed away. Vehicles have been washed away in many areas and people have been advised to stay in homes. At the same time, there is a rage form of Tirthan river in the Banjar Valley of Kullu where dozens of roads have been broken after the flood rains.

In Megali of Karsog, the drain water started flowing through the village, causing about 8 houses and two dozen vehicles. In Pandoh, the drain was so shed in the form that water filled the village, after which people of many houses reached the main road at midnight. The police camp at Pandoh provided the place to the people to live.

In Dharampur, the river water started about 20 feet up, which submerged the market and the bus base. In Thunag, a drain started flowing in the main market road itself. Water entered people’s homes, due to which people woke up and spent the night. In many areas, people have suffered loss of their personal property due to heavy rains and landslides, while traffic on the roads has also been disrupted.
How will the weather be in Himachal today?
Himachal Pradesh is seeing a rage form of monsoon. While the river-drains are in spate due to heavy rains, people are facing huge problems due to cracking the mountains and debris on the roads. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in Himachal Pradesh from 01 July to 06 July. The Meteorological Department has still issued a red alert of heavy rains.

Appeal not to get out of homes
The district administration Mandi has appealed to the local people and tourists not to leave the house without essential work. The administration has warned that it may rain in the next few hours and avoid traveling. Also follow the advisory issued by the district administration.
