Vikrant Massey won the first National Award for ’12th Fail’, said- 20-year-old boy’s dream came true …

The 71st National Film Awards have been announced. Shah Rukh Khan and Vikrant Massey have been jointly awarded the National Award for Best Actor. Shah Rukh has received awards for his films ‘Jawa’ and Vikrant for ’12th Fail’. Vikrant Massey expressed happiness over receiving the National Award with Shah Rukh.

Vikrant Massey said, “I want to thank all the respected judges of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, NFDC and the 71st National Film Awards who considered my acting worthy of this honor.” I also want to thank Vidhu Vinod Chopra ji who gave me this opportunity.

He said, today, if I say so, the dream of a 20 -year -old boy has come true. I will always be grateful to the audience to honor my acting and suggest this film with so much love.

Vikrant Massey said, it is a matter of good fortune for me to share my first national award with a legend like Shah Rukh Khan. Finally, I dedicate these awards to all the people of our society, who are often ignored, and who are struggling with the socio-economic paradigms of our country every day.
