Sai Sudarshan, who won the Orange Cap in IPL 2025, is ready for his Test debut on England tour. Before the first Test match against England, he has also spoken openly about his idol Virat Kohli. Sai Sudarshan also told about his conversation with Virat how Virat told him about dealing with failures.

The left -handed batsman also recalled Kohli after Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) won the IPL 2025 final. Sudarshan is one of the three unaccounted players selected for the upcoming five -match Test series against England, which will begin in Leeds on 20 June. In an interview with the Times of India, Sudarshan said, “I congratulated him after the final because it was a special moment for him. But we have always conversed many times in the last few years. I have always praised his mentality and dedication to the game. We have talked about how he handled the situation when he was not scoring.”

Speaking further, Sudarshan said, “Virat Kohli is my idol. I have always been a fan of his batting and listening to his interviews. I try to follow his footsteps. The most important factor is his mentality and confidence, as well as trusting his abilities. I have seen how he takes care of himself in difficult times.
