Talking to Sportstar, Ravi Shastri said, “He is currently contributing to India in ODIs, but I also know that once the game is over, he will leave. He is not a human being who will play the role of any kind of coaching or broadcasting. When the Indian team will play the first Test in England, I will miss them. He would like to be a champion.”

Ravi Shastri believes that Virat Kohli could play 2 years more Test cricket. I would like to see them in England.

Shastri further said, “I am sure 2 years of Test cricket left inside Virat. I would like to see him in England in these summer. It would be a good idea to give him a captain on the tour, but he would know why he decided to leave.”

Ravi Shastri further said, “Perhaps mental fatigue inspired him to decide because he was fit like another player in the team. He is best aware of his body, but the brain would have played the role of deciding.”
