Delhi Premier League 2025 (DPL 2025) is going to start in August. For which it was auctioned on Sunday 6 July. In this, 14 -year -old younger son of Indian cricket player Virender Sehwag, Vedanta Sehwag and elder son Aryveer Sehwag were also bid. In which his elder son sold and younger son was unusual.
Vedanta’s name first came in the auction. Unfortunately, no team bid them and they remained unusual. A few minutes later Aryveer’s name came and he saw strict competition between the teams to buy.
Vedanta’s luck did not support
Vedanta Sehwag performed brilliantly in the DDCA 2024-25 T20 tournament. Apart from this, he took 24 wickets in just 5 matches while playing for Delhi Under-16 in Vijay Merchant Trophy. His bowling saw a lot of diversity and control, on which Virender Sehwag himself praised him, expressing pride on social media. Despite this, no team of DPL placed bets on him.
Aryveer has rocked the bat
On the other hand, Virender Sehwag’s elder son Aryveer Sehwag caught everyone’s attention in the auction. This young batsman of the Delhi Under-19 team was bought by Central Delhi Kings for 8 lakh rupees. Aryveer has previously been in the discussion by playing an innings of 297 runs. He played this innings against Meghalaya and reached very close to his father Virender Sehwag’s record of 319 runs.
