Visa-Free Access: China has launched a visa-free policy for nine countries, starting November 2024, allowing 15-day visits for tourism, business, and family purposes. This initiative aims to boost cross-border travel and enhance economic ties, offering easy access to one of the world’s most diverse destinations.

Visa-Free Access for 9 Countries
The announcement was made by Lin Jian (林剑), Deputy Director General at the Department of Press, Communication, and Public Diplomacy of China’s Foreign Ministry, on 1 November 2024.
According to Lin, the visa-free policy will be implemented from 8 November 2024 and will continue until 31 December 2025, allowing visitors from nine countries to travel to China without a visa.

These countries allow visa-free travel
Ordinary passport holders from the following nine countries can enter China without a visa for tourism, business, family visits, and transit:
- Denmark
- Andorra
- Norway
- Finland
- South Korea
- Liechtenstein
- Monaco
- Iceland
- Slovakia
