The Ministry of Railways said that in the menu of Veg Miles (Standard Casrol), plane rice (150 grams), thick lentils or sambar (150 grams), curd (80 grams), 2 paratha or 4 paratha (100 grams), vegetable (100 grams) and pickle (12 grams) are given. However, there is no doubt that the same menu veg mile in railway stations and trains is sold at a much higher price than the prescribed price.
