War 2 Review: Hrithik and NTR lost war due to poor script and direction, read full review
Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s War (2019) were successful, but was an average film. The second part of the war has now surfaced in Aditya Chopra’s ‘Spy Universe’. The last time Hrithik-Tiger Shroff was a pair and this time Hrithik has been supported by the popular star Junior NTR of South India. Producer Aditya Chopra added NTR to do a good business in the film South India and the reach of his spy uniaves increased further.
Aditya Chopra has written the story of War 2. Kabir (Hrithik Roshan) has turned against the country and dangerous moves are going on. Only the man of his collision can stop him and is chosen for this to Vikram (NTR). Along with Vikram, Kavya (Kiara Advani) is also involved in this mission as he too has to pay the account with Kabir. Why is Kabir against the country? Why has he joined hands with enemies? Will Vikram be able to stop him? Answers to these questions are gradually revealed.
Sridhar is the script of Raghavan, in which he has spread the story. Action is made for sequences. There are ups and downs to tie the audience. But we have to say that both the script writer and the director have not been able to do their work properly, so War 2 is not able to leave its impact on the audience as a whole.

The film starts as a template of an action films. Hrithik Roshan’s entry is from an action scene where they kill a Japanese among hundreds of bodyguards. Similarly, NTR also takes Dhansu entry into the film with a long action scene.
Initially, a few minutes the film goes on stuttering, but after this the film gets wings and moves forward. Rapid events decrease and some great action scenes are seen.
A vigorous chase sequence is seen on the streets of Spain which has been filmed well. The idea that kidnaps either of the plane flying in the air is also strong. This sequence also produces adventure. However, there are incredible things in these sequences such as the car falls on the moving train, the face of two heroes on top of the plane. Larger has been exempted in the name of Den Life, but despite this, these sequences create thrills in the audience because you do not get much time to think. A great twist is also given during the interval. Some other secrets open up the audience’s interest in the film.

But as soon as the drama is focused on the second half, the film derailed. There are two reasons for this, one is that these scenes are not very powerful and the other is that they have been kept excessively long or have been drawn like rubber. For example, Hrithik and NTR’s childhood story, which reminds of the 80s films. This story has been spread so much that boredom begins to dominate. Hrithik and NTR dialogue in climax are also boring. The plot between friendship and enmity is the basis of the film, but it is not able to rise properly.
When the action scenes come in the second half, it seems that the car is running on the highway, but when the dramatic scenes come, it seems that the car has landed in the raw. Also, second half action scenes are not so impressive. The climax is breathless. The entire sequence saving the PM is shown in such a hurry that the thrill kept going. The second half drowns the whole film.
Ayan Mukherjee is average as the director. Among films like Wake Up Sid and Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, who were close to real life, Ayan managed to disintegrate his shine as director. But he could not handle the Larzer Deen Life films properly. In ‘Brahmastra’ we saw this and ‘War 2’ is the second example. The story has been introduced in an unclear manner. There is also confusion. Things are not clear. In such films, brightness and glamor are essential organ, which is felt in the film.
Who was heavy in Hrithik Roshan and NTR? If his fans want to know this, then the answer is that Hrithik faded against NTR. Hrithik Roshan could not produce sparks in his role. You looked extinguished. NTR created a fire in his role and played his role with Trevata. Both were on par in action scenes and in terms of dance, the match was also left on par. But the shortcomings of the script also affected their acting.

Kiara Advani left her impact. Anil Kapoor’s role could not be shaped properly. Suddenly they get entry and do not see a vency in their role. Ashutosh Rana should be average.
There are also some songs in the film, for which the situation was not made properly. VFX is mostly weak space. Action is excellent, but due to lack of solid story, their effect is less visible. Cinematography is A-One. Dialogues have power, but the complexity of the story is not explained properly. The editing of the film is loose and has been done in such a way that many times there is no synergy in the scenes.
Overall, War 2 is a losing battle. Lachchar script and weak direction made this war defeated.
