War 2 vs Coolie Box Office Collection Day 6
These days, two big films of Bollywood and South Cinema are face to face at the box office. On one side is Thalaiva Rajinikanth and Nagarjuna starrer ‘Coolie’ and Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR starrer ‘War 2’. Both films were released in theaters on August 14 and had a tremendous opening. Now the release of both of them has completed 6 days, after which it is gradually knowing who is the real winner of this race. Hrithik’s high octane actioner War 2 is continuously lagging behind Rajinikanth’s porter at the box office. This series started from the third day and now the sixth day earning figures of both films have also come out.
Sixth day collection of porter
Talking about the sixth day collection of ‘Kuli’, directed by Loksh Kanagaraja, the film earned Rs 8.11 crore in India on Tuesday (Day 6). With this, the film has touched a great figure of Rs 214.61 crore. However, during the weekdays i.e. on Monday and Tuesday, there was a huge decline in the film’s earnings, even then it is far ahead of Hrithik’s War 2. Talking about the worldwide collection of political drama, which has crossed the 200 crore figure, this figure has crossed Rs 400 crore.
Coolie’s opening was bang
On Opening Day, Coolie earned a bang of Rs 65 crore and then joined the 100 crore club with the second day’s earnings. The film earned Rs 54.75 crore on the second day, made a great collection of Rs 39.5 crore on Saturday and Rs 35.25 crore on Sunday. After this, the film’s earnings fell by more than 50 percent on Monday. On Monday, Rajinikanth’s film could earn only Rs 12 crore.
War 2 speed slowed down
On the other hand, Talking about ‘War 2’, Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR’s high-octane actioner earned only 7.79 crores on the sixth day. Directed by Ayan Mukherjee, the audience had high expectations from this film, but its impact at the box office is gradually decreasing. Talking about the total collection of the film in India, War 2 has so far earned Rs 192.29 crore. That is, it has not been able to enter 200 crore club till now. Whereas it collected a tremendous collection of 52 crores at the box office on the first day and 57.35 crores on the second day. On one hand, where ‘Coolie’ has maintained a strong hold at India and Global Box Office, ‘War 2’ seems to be dull.
