In the Diary of CEO Podcast, Jeffre Hinton warned that in the coming time, AI will leave the person backwards in everything, due to which the jobs of people will go on a large scale. Also, he has described AI as a big threat to humanity in the next 30 years. However, he also said that some people’s jobs will be safe in future also.

Hinton said about AI in Podcast that people have a common belief that AI will remove the old by generating new jobs. But there is nothing like this, in the coming time, AI will work with all the brain, which humans do. This is a danger bell for existing market jobs. In May 2025, the report by Venture Capital firm Signalfire claimed that large tech companies like Google, Meta have cut graduates’ appointments by up to 25% in 2023 and 2024. In 2024, tech companies hired only 7% fresh graduates. It has been cut by 10% as compared to 2023. This is because many entry level work is now being completed through AI.
