Taipei: The Central Meteorological Administration of Taiwan has issued an alert for the Danas storm at 2:30 pm on Sunday afternoon (local time). Due to this, there is a possibility of marine and terrestrial typhoon. Taiwan issued a warning, saying that the Danas storm may cause strong winds of more than 160 kilometers per hour (99 mph). Taiwan officials have issued a warning of land and a storm for the entire island, as the Danas storm is about to bring strong winds and torrential rains. Due to this, there is an atmosphere of panic among the people.
Local cautious
According to the Central Emergency Operations Center, no major damage was reported till 3:15 pm on Sunday afternoon. On Sunday, Hong Kong Observatory canceled ‘Tropical Cyclone Warning No’ after moving towards Taiwan Strait away from the city of storm. However, the residents were advised to be vigilant about excessive heat.
Warning in China too
In China, the National Meteorological Center has also released ‘Yellow Alert’. Because the Danas storm can bring strong winds and heavy rainfall to the southern regions. According to the Xinhua news agency, the storm will enter the East China Sea on Monday and gradually move from northern Fujian to the coastal areas of Central and South Zhejiang. By noon by the afternoon, 193 passenger boats and all 104 water construction projects were postponed by the afternoon, this information was given by China Central Television (CCTV).
