Warning of heavy rain

New Delhi: While the people of Delhi-NCR are troubled by the humid heat, there are flood-like conditions due to heavy rains in many states including Gujarat, Maharashtra. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has aroused torrential rains in many states of the country today i.e. on Friday.

According to the Meteorological Department, Uttar Pradesh, Western Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, Sikkim, Andaman and Nicobar Islands are expected to have heavy rains during the next 24 hours. During this time, strong winds can be blowing at a speed of 40-50 kmph with thunderstorms.

Alert for heavy rain in these districts of West Bengal

According to the Meteorological Department, some districts of West Bengal may receive heavy to very heavy rainfall on Friday. The districts of South Bengal, North 24 Parganas, Purulia, Eastern and Western Bardhaman, Jhargram, Bankura and Hooghly are expected to receive heavy rains till July 1. On June 29, in Southern 24 Parganas and on 30 June East Midnapore, West Midnapore, Jhargram, Bankura and Hooghly are expected to receive heavy rains.

Sub-Himalayan districts Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Jalpaiguri, Alipurduar and Cooch Behar are likely to receive heavy rains by July 1. From June 29, the Odisha-west Bengal coast and the Bay of North Bengal are likely to move at a speed of 35-45 kmph which can go up to 55 kmph speed.

Warning of rain with thunderstorms in Andhra Pradesh

The Meteorological Department has predicted lightning, strong wind and thunderstorms in many areas of Andhra Pradesh for the next five days from Friday. According to IMD, northern coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, south coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema are estimated to have strong winds at different places at a speed of 40 to 50 kmph.

During the next 7 days, most places in Northeast India may receive light to moderate rainfall with strong winds. There may be heavy rains in some places.

Weather of South India

The Meteorological Department said that heavy rainfall is expected at different places in Kerala and Tamil Nadu on Friday. Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Rayalaseema, Telangana are expected to wind at a speed of 40–60 kmph during June 28-30.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light rain and cloudy in Delhi-NCR. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 37 ° C. It may rain with strong winds in the evening or night.
