South Africa’s young batsman Dewald Brevis T20 Blast made a hurry with stormy batting in his debut match in the T20 blast. The 22 -year -old Brevis, batting at number 3 for Hampshire, scored 68 runs in 32 balls at a strong rate of 212.50, in which he hit 4 fours and 6 sixes. He started his innings by hitting a six off the first ball.

On the basis of Brevis’s innings, Hampshire scored 230 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in the prescribed 20 overs. Apart from Brevis, captain James Wins scored 62 runs in 31 balls and Tobby Albert scored 54 runs in 34 balls.
In response, Essex collapsed for 124 runs in 16.2 overs and Hampshire won by 106 runs. Michael-Kile Paper scored 51 runs in 38 balls for Essex.

Brevis performance in T20 cricket in 2025 has been excellent. He has so far scored 584 runs in 17 innings at an average of 44.92 and a strong rate of 185.39, in which he has scored five half -centuries.
