Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the IPL are also causing havoc in the explosive all -rounder Romario Shepherd Caribbean Premier League 2025. In the 13th match of the tournament played against St. Lucia Kings on 26 August (Tuesday), he tied up with his banging innings. Playing for Guyana Amazon Warriors, Shepherd scored an unbeaten 73 runs off 34 balls with the help of five fours and seven skyscraper sixes.

The most special moment of his banging performance was seen in the 15th over, when Shepherd caught everyone’s attention by scoring 22 runs on the same legitimate ball against Ocene Thomas. Actually, it happened that Thomas first overseas on the third ball of his over. He then bowled a wide ball, saving the chance of free hit. Shepherd hit a six over deep mid-wicket on the next ball but Thomas again hit a no ball. This is followed by another ball, another no-ball and then another six. Eventually, when Thomas bowled a valid ball, Shepherd still hit him for the third consecutive six. This scored 22 runs off a valid ball.

Thomas conceded a total of 33 runs in this over, while Ken Gaston also looted 27 runs in the 17th over of Gaston. Thanks to Shepherd’s fiery innings, Guyana Amazon Warriors scored a mountain score of 202 runs losing 6 wickets in 20 overs but despite their brilliant performance, their team lost.

Chasing 202 runs, St. Lucia’s team won with 11 balls remaining due to the innings of Tim CIFT (37 off 24 balls), Aques August (73 off 35 balls) and Shepherd’s RCB partner Tim David (25 runs off 15 balls). Akim Auguste was adjudged Player of the Match for his 73 -run stormy innings.
