KL Rahul Bows Down Rishabh Pant: India against England on the first day of the first Test being played in the headingley, the Indian batsmen batted brilliantly and strengthened their team’s position. Earlier, after losing the toss, India started to bat first. Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul did not give any chance to the English bowlers in the first hour. Both of them scored runs with the right balance of patience and aggression and did not let any wickets fall in the first 10 overs. Rahul installed some great cover drives, while Jaiswal sent the balls across the border from below. However, at the end of the session, England got two successes, first Rahul caught in slip for 42 runs and then B Sai Sudarshan, who was debuting, went on without opening an account. India had scored 92/2 runs till lunch. After this, Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal got to see and Pant also played Shubman with well in the last session.
